Clinic LPN- Plastic Surgery Practice
Position Summary The Clinic LPN provides high-quality clinical and patient care support within a plastic surgery practice setting. This role partners closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care across surgical consultations, pre-and post-operative visits, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. The LPN plays a key role in patient education, clinical preparation, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Patient Care & Clinical Support Assist providers with patient examinations, minor procedures, and treatments Prepare patients for consultations, procedures, and follow-up visits Perform vital signs, patient assessments, and documentation in EMR Support pre-operative and post-operative care, including dressing changes and wound care Administer medications and injections as permitted by scope of practice and clinic protocols Patient Education & Experience Educate patients on pre-and post-procedure instructions, recovery expectations, and aftercare Reinforce physician treatment plans and answer patient questions Ensure a high-touch, concierge-level patient experience consistent with aesthetic practice standards Clinical Operations Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies Assist with inventory management, ordering, and tracking of clinical supplies Adhere to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards Coordination & Communication Collaborate with providers, front office, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient flow Support scheduling coordination for procedures and follow-ups as needed Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members Requirements: Education & Licensure Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice Current BLS/CPR certification required Experience $1–$3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics, or outpatient surgical settings strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient safety Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment Professional demeanor with a strong emphasis on discretion and confidentiality Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer applications
