Question 1

How do I apply to a job on CozyJobs?

Accepted Answer

Browse or search for a job you like, then click the job card to see details. Click the "Apply" button to go directly to the employer's application page. If you've installed the CozyApply Chrome extension, it can draft your answers and cover letter for you and pre-fill the form — you review everything and click submit yourself on the employer's site.

Question 2

What is CozyApply?

Accepted Answer

CozyApply is our Chrome extension that helps you apply faster. It drafts tailored cover letters and application answers from your profile and resume, and pre-fills forms on supported employer application pages. You always review what it drafted and submit each application yourself — CozyApply never auto-submits on your behalf.

Question 3

What are credits and how do they work?

Accepted Answer

Credits are spent by CozyApply, our browser extension, when it fills an application for you — drafting answers or a tailored cover letter from your profile. One application fill typically uses one credit. Credits do not unlock listings: company names, locations, and apply links on the board come with a membership, which you can try for $0.99 for a week. Paid plans include a monthly allowance — Starter gets 100, Boost gets 250, and Power gets 1,000 — and allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month. The Free plan includes a one-time bundle of credits to try the extension, and you can buy extra credit packs anytime; pack credits never expire.

Question 4

How does my profile work?

Accepted Answer

Your profile stores your resume, work preferences, and personal info. During onboarding, we ask a few questions to tailor job recommendations. You can update your profile anytime from the Profile page — keeping it current helps match you with the right jobs and gives CozyApply better material to draft from.

Question 5

How does job matching work?

Accepted Answer

Your match score comes from your Job Preferences. Most of the weight is on your target roles matching the job title — an exact title counts most, a title that contains your role counts next, and a title that only shares a word with it counts a little. Then your key skills add points when the listing mentions them, your work type and employment type add points when they agree and subtract when they clash, and a saved quiz result adds a small bonus. The board ranks on titles and skills, not the full description, so list five to eight title variants in the words employers use, keep your skills concrete, and set your work type. Anything in Not Interested is hidden from matches entirely.

Question 6

What plans are available and how much do they cost?

Accepted Answer

There's a Free plan — the Application Tracker, your apply queue, and a one-time bundle of CozyApply credits — plus three paid tiers: Starter (for casual searchers), Boost (for active job seekers), and Power (for heavy applicants). Visit our Pricing page for current rates. Every plan includes the tracker and CozyApply; membership adds company names, locations, and apply links on every listing, cover letters drafted for you, and smart matching. You can try membership for $0.99 for a week.

Question 7

Can I track jobs I've applied to?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The Tracker page keeps a running log of every application. You can see status updates, add notes, and organize your pipeline. Jobs you apply to with CozyApply are tracked automatically.

Question 8

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Profile page under Billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. No hidden fees, no hassle.

Question 9

How do I delete my profile?

Accepted Answer

Head to cozyjobs.com/profile#delete-account — that link takes you straight to the Delete Account section at the bottom of your Profile page (you can also get there from the Settings menu in the Profile sidebar). Click "Delete my account", let us know why you're leaving, and confirm. Deletion is permanent and immediate: your profile, resume, positions, tracked applications, and CozyApply queue are all removed, any active subscription is cancelled, and we stop emailing you. If you'd like to keep a copy of anything, use Export Your Data — just above the delete button — before you go.

Question 10

Does CozyJobs verify employers?

Accepted Answer

For jobs employers post directly through CozyJobs, yes: our team reviews each one before it goes live. The rest of the board comes from employer career sites, hiring platforms, recruiting agencies, and other job sources, most of it gathered automatically, plus listings our curators find and add. We can't verify those employers. We're a small team trying to get you the best jobs on the internet as fast as we can, so our filters do the heavy lifting: they remove duplicates, unpaid roles, and employers on our block list, and our curators look into anything readers report. Things can still slip through, so before you share personal details, check that the role is posted on the employer's own site and report anything that looks off at cozyjobs.com/report.

Question 11

I found a scam or fake job listing. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Please report it. Click the flag icon on the job card, or use the support form on the help page to file a bug report. Our curation team reviews every report and removes bad listings quickly.
